About Todd David Brasells
I started out in the construction industry at the age of 18 as an electrical apprentice. Soon after I joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers local# 0756. After 5 yrs I graduated from the I.B.E.W. apprenticeship program with 10,000 hrs of college accredited course study and 10,000 hrs of nationally accredited on the job training. I spent the next ten yrs traveling all over the continental U.S. working on some of the largest and most complex projects in U.S. history. A list that includes the "Big Dig" in Boston, The "olympic park" and the "olympic stadium" in Atlanta, Various car-plants and steel-mills, Nuclear power houses, and best and most fun of all, Every single launch pad at John F. Kennedy space center.
At this point I found myself "a suddenly single parent" as I like to put it, and could no longer travel for work. I started a handy man business, and a painting business. Eventually I worked up to building contractor. I took my exam in 2004 (it's a 16 hr test) and passed it with high marks on the first try which, I'm told, is somewhat unusual. Since then I have successfully completed many commercial and residential projects in both Volusia and Flagler counties a small fraction of which are featured in our galleries.
